The J Custom line, also stylized as J.Custom or J-Custom series, is a line of electric guitars produced for Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. The J indicates that these models are produced in Japan and distinguishes this line from the USA Custom series of the early 1990s which this line essentially replace. The J Custom line consists of the very highest quality instruments sold by Ibanez in terms of both components and workmanship.

J Custom guitars are produced in Japan by master luthiers from FujiGen Gakki and Sugi Musical Instruments Ltd.. J Custom models include upscale features such as exotic wood tops and intricate fretboard inlay designs. They are generally produced in very small production numbers and often are the work of a single luthier. The initial J Custom models were introduced in 1996.
