The JS1200L is a left-handed JS series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. It is a signature model of American guitarist Joe Satriani. The guitar was introduced in 2009 as a limited edition model, but it returned to the lineup in 2011.

The JS1200L is the first left-handed Satriani signature model. In terms of specifications, its identical to its right-handed counterpart, the JS1200. It is one of the few (perhaps the only?) JS model offered for left-handed players. The Steve Vai signature JEM7V was also issued left-handed in 2009 as the JEM7VL.

The JS1200L features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. Components include a double locking tremolo bridge, dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with a coil-tap and Gotoh tuning machines.

The JS1200L was discontinued in mid-2015.
