The JS1200L is a left handed JS series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. It is a signature model of American guitarist Joe Satriani. The guitar was introduced in 2009 as a limited edition model, but it returned to the lineup in 2011.

The JS1200L is the first (and so far only) left handed Satriani signature model. In terms of specifications, it is identical to its right handed counterpart, the JS1200. The Steve Vai signature JEM7V was also offered in a left-handed version in 2009 as the JEM7VL.

The JS1200L features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. Components include a double locking tremolo bridge, dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups with a coil-split and Gotoh tuning machines.

The JS1200L was discontinued in mid-2015.
