The JS1200 is a JS series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2004. It is a signature model of American guitarist Joe Satriani which was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The JS1200 is similar to the JS1000 model introduced a decade earlier, but has some small refinements, including the new DiMarzio PAF Joe neck pickup specially developed for Joe Satriani. Another eye-catching feature is the Candy Apple finish with matching headstock. It features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. Other components include a double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

For 2010, the Edge Pro tremolo was replaced with the original Edge tremolo.

The JS1200L was a left-handed version.

The JS1200 was discontinued in 2017.
