The JPCS8 is a One-off model which is sold exclusively by select Ibanez music retailers.
The first and most noticeable difference to other Ibanez jazz guitars is the multi-scale construction. The spread on scale lengths is 24.75” on the high E and 25.5” on the low E. The benefits offered are ergonomic as well as tonal.
The JPCS8 - "TOTALLY JAZZED" features a full-hollow body design with spruce top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides with a single Venetian cutaway mated to a set-in african mahogany neck with 22-fret ebony fingerboard with black side dots position markers, a black headstock with the Ibanez logo. Components include a Bartolini™ 1C Humbucking pickups in neck position, a Gotoh Tune-o-matic bridge. Black hardware and Gotoh tuning machines. Includes Hardshell Case & Certificate of Authenticity.
