The JPCS28 is a One-off model which is sold exclusively by select Ibanez music retailers.
This bass is a beautiful example of the Japan Custom Shop team combining the venerable SR design with captivating visuals meant to reflect the mood and splendor of spring. As such, they opted to name it HARU, which is Japanese for "Spring". Another principal inspiration for this bass is the is the blooming of the weeping cherry tree, or Shidarezakura, in Japanese.
The JPCS28 - "HARU" features a double cutaway Alder body bolted to a 5 piece maple and purpleheart neck, ebony fingerboard with 24 frets, with Mother of Pearl Cherry Blossom inlays at 12th fret and white side dots position markers, a matching headstock. Components are a set of Nordstrand Big Singles® pickups with matching wood covers on the neck position and the bridge position, controls are Vol/Blend/Treble/Mid/Bass/EQ Bypass & & Mid Frequency switch, Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ equalizer, a MR5S fixed bridge, gotoh machine heads, gold hardware and includes Hardshell Case & Certificate of Authenticity
