The JPCS19 "CALYPSO" is an high end J Custom line. RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2022. It was crafted by the Japan Custom Shop in Nagoya as part of the 50th anniversary of Ibanez’s US-based distributor Hoshino U.S.A. Inc.

The JPCS19 is a One-off model which is sold exclusively by select Ibanez music retailers.

The JPCS19 - "CALYPSO" features neck-through-body construction with mahogany body with quilted maple top attached to a 5pc maple/purpleheart neck, with ebony fingerbord, 24 jumbo frets with tree of life and luminlay side dots inlays. Components are a DiMarzio Air Norton™ Humbucking pickups on the neck position, a DiMarzio True Velvet Single coil pickup in the middle position and a DiMarzio The Tone Zone on the bridge position, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, gold hardware, gotoh machine heads and includes hardshell case & certificate of authenticity.

The JPCS18 is a similar model with Transparent Dark Blue finish.
