The JPCS16 is a One-off model which is sold exclusively by select Ibanez music retailers.
The most unique feature on the JPCS16 is the 24.75” scale length, a medium scale length rather than the 25.5” long scale that is traditionally used on the RG. This slightly smaller scale makes the guitar more compact, comfortable, and lightning fast to play.
The JPCS16 - "SUNSET" features an alder body with quilted maple top bolted to a 3pc Wenge/Purpleheart neck, with ebony fingerboard, 24 stainless steel jumbo frets with mother of pearl dots and luminlay side dots. Components are a DiMarzio Air Norton™ Humbucking pickups on the neck and a DiMarzio The Tone Zone™ Humbucking pickups on the bridge position, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, black hardware, gotoh machine heads and includes hardshell case & certificate of authenticity.
