JPCS12 "PROMETHEUS" Nitrocellulose (more images)

The JPCS12 "PROMETHEUS" is an RGA series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2022. It was crafted by the Japan Custom Shop in Nagoya as part of the 50th anniversary of Ibanez’s US-based distributor Hoshino U.S.A. Inc.

The JPCS12 is a One-off model which is sold exclusively by select Ibanez music retailers.

The JPCS12 - "PROMETHEUS" features a honduras mahogany body bolted to a roasted flamed maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot position markers and luminescent side dots and stainless steel frets. This guitar also has a 50mm-thick body, 6mm thicker than a production RGA, along with a fatter “C” shaped neck. Other custom features specific to this instrument include a 12”- 16” compound radius and nitrocellulose finish. Components include a pair of Y.O.S. Smoggy humbucking pickups with chrome covers a coil split toggle, an Gibraltar Elite fixed bridge, a plastic nut and Gotoh MG-T locking tuning machines. Includes Hardshell Case & Certificate of Authenticity.
