The JPCS10 "HERCULES" is a six string multi-scale BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2022. It was crafted by the Japan Custom Shop in Nagoya as part of the 50th anniversary of Ibanez’s US-based distributor Hoshino U.S.A. Inc.

The JPCS10 is a One-off model which is sold exclusively by select Ibanez music retailers.

The centerpiece of this custom design is the unique combination of scale-lengths employed. The B string features a robust 36” scale while the high C is 33.5”. This creates an exceptional balance in the feel and timbre of each string. The shorter scale on the high C adds a touch of warmth, while the super long 36” low B exhibits a commanding, well-defined fundamental, without being overpowering.

The JPCS10 - "HERCULES" features neck through body construction with a Koa flamed maple and Swamp Ash layered body attached to a 7pc Flame Maple/Bubinga/Maple/Walnut neck with a 24-fret Cocobolo fingerboard with luminlay dots and luminlay side dots position markers. Components include a pair of Nordstrand Big Singles (Custom Modified) single-coil pickups with an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, stainless steel frets including a zero fret, a finger ramp which matches the top, Mono-rail bridges with 17mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut, Black hardware and Gotoh tuning machines. Includes Hardshell Case & Certificate of Authenticity.
