JPCS1 "SOLAR FLARE" build
This RG features a truly unique aesthetic choice that walks the line between retro and modern. The use of a stainless steel top achieves a finished look that simply wouldn’t be possible with conventional materials. The textured metal cap delivers visible striations underneath the transparent gloss finish with far more uniformity in the pattern than would ever be possible with a wood top. Additionally, the patterns seen on the metal were meticulously hand engraved by one of Ibanez’s custom shop luthiers. Only one piece was produced.
The "JPCS1" - "SOLAR FLARE" features Alder body with stainless steel top bolted to a 5 piece maple and walnut neck, with indian rosewood fingerboard, offset white dot inlays, 24 jumbo frets and white side dots. Components are a set DiMarzio Evolution™ Humbucking pickups on the neck and the bridge positions, and a DiMarzio Evolution™ Single coil pickup in the middle position, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, chrome hardware, gotoh machine heads and includes hardshell case & certificate of authenticity.
