The JEM7 (also known as the JEM7 RB) is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1988. Is is a signature model of American guitarist Steve Vai.
The JEM7 features an American basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard which is scalloped above the 20th fret and has dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio PAF Pro humbucking pickups flanking a custom DiMarzio single-coil, an Edge tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
