The JEM77P is a JEM series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2015. It is a signature model of American guitarist Steve Vai. The JEM77P is produced in Indonesia as part of the Premium line.
It is a mass market version of the Japanese made PrestigeJEM77.
Aside the country of origin, differences from the JEM77 are numerous, including the color and pattern, body material, neck profile, titanium reinforcement, fretboard material and frets. The JEM77P also has a different tremolo and different pickups.
The JEM77P features an American basswood body bolted to a titanium reinforce maple and walnut Wizard Premium neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with blue Tree of Life inlays. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of Gravity Storm humbuckers flanking an Evolution single-coil, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge and a clear pickguard.
