The JEM777V is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1988. It is a signature model of American guitarist Steve Vai and part of Vai's JEM series.
The JEM777V features an American basswood body mated to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with a vine inlay. Components include DiMarzio pickups in an HSH configuration, a double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut.
The JEM777V is similar to the JEM777, but features a rosewood fingerboard with vine inlay rather than the JEM777's maple fingerboard with disappearing pyramid position markers.
