The JCS2101 is a limited edition S series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2021. It was made in Japan by Sugi as part of the exclusive J Custom line. It was offered exclusively for sale be Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki.
The JCS2101 features a buckeye burl top which has had its voids filled with orange & blue resin on an Honduras mahogany body mated to a set-in Honduras mahogany neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone and mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay. The headstock features the same buckeye burl as the body. Components include pair of DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary humbuckers pickups , an Lo-pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, Gotoh tuning machines, African mahogany rear cavity covers, and Gotoh knurled metal knobs.
