The JCS14C01 is an S series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2014. It was made in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line. It was a spot model sold only through Ikebe Gakki stores in Japan.
The JCS14C01 features a Honduras mahogany body topped with 5A quilted maple and mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a smooth heel and a 22-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with abalone and mother of pearl Tree of Life inlays. The headstock is topped with Brazilian rosewood. The body, headstock and fretboard all feature abalone purfling and wooden binding. The serial number is hand printed on the back of the headstock.
Components include DiMarzio pickups with two cream-and-black zebra humbuckers flanking a cream single-coil, an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, Gotoh locking strap pins and Gotoh tuning machines.
