The JCRG25C02 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2025. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line and was offered for sale exclusively by Japanese retailer Kurosawa Gakki. The concept is a highly designed guitar with a "Geological Layer" motif.
The JCRG25C02 features ash body with burl maple & blue resin top bolted to a wenge and purpleheart neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone & mother of pearl tree of life inlays and luminlay side dots. Components include a set of DiMarzio's pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, Gotoh SG381 machine heads, Gotoh strap lock pins and chrome hardware and includes a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
The JCRG25C01 is a related model with honduran mahogany with selected quilted maple top and gold hardware.
