The JCRG2503 is an RG series solid body electric guitar spot model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2025. It was produced in Japan by the Custom Shop as part of the high-end J Custom line. It was first exhibited as an exclusive model at the Sound Messe Osaka 2025 in Japan. Only 2 units were produced.
The JCRG2503 features african mahogany body with a (4mm) exotic maple top bolted to a maple and purpleheart JCRG Asymmetric Super Wizard neck with a 24-fret bound birdseye maple fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays and luminlay side dots and exotic maple headstock. Components include a set of DiMarzio's pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, Gotoh SG381 machine heads, Gotoh Strap lock pins and chrome hardware and includes a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
The JCRG2501 is a related model with lightweight ash body on a stunning exotic maple top. The JCRG2502 is related model with neck through body construction, black limba body with exotic maple top with white resin. The JCRG2504 is a related model with 2-piece Honduran mahogany body with a (4mm) quilted maple top.
