The JCRG2501 is an RG series solid body electric guitar spot model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2025. It was first exhibited as an exclusive model at Ibanez Guitar Festival 2025 in Germany [1]. It was crafted in Japan by the Custom Shop as part of the high-end J Custom line. It is one of the few J Custom models to feature a 24.75-inch scale length.
The JCRG2501 features lightweight ash body with a stunning exotic maple top bolted to a wenge and purpleheart wizard neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays and luminlay side dots with a exotic maple headstock. Components are a DiMarzio Air Norton™ Humbucking pickups on the neck and a DiMarzio The Tone Zone™ Humbucking pickups on the bridge position, a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, Gotoh SG381 machine heads, Gotoh strap lock pins and cosmo black hardware and includes a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
