The JCRG2304BM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2023. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line. It is a spot model Exhibited at Sound Messe in Osaka Japan 2023.
The JCRG2304BM design is different from the normal RG, with a 628mm scale neck and a slightly smaller body design. It features alder body with (4mm) Burl Maple top bolted to a roasted maple and bubinga RG J Custom Wizard neck with a 24-fret selected ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dots inlays and luminlay side dots. Components include a set of DiMarzio's pickups, a dyna-MIX10 switching system enables a wide range of 10 types of sound control, including coil taps, an Edge tremolo, Gotoh SG381 MG-T locking machine heads, Gotoh Strap lock pins and cosmo black hardware and includes a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
On the back of the body the tremolo and electronic cavity covers are made of Burl Maple to match the top.
The JCRG2304QM is a similar model with quilted maple top and lapiz lazuli finish. The JCRG2304FM is a related model with flamed maple top and spider black finish. The JCRG2304SM is a similar model with spalted maple top and natural finish.
