The JCRG2303 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2023. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG2303 features a 4mm thick selected exotic maple top on a mahogany body with bolted to a maple Super Wizard neck with a 24-fret selected ebony fingerboard with abalone & mother of pearl tree of life position markers and luminlay side dots. The top, sides, and end of the body sport Tree of Life vine designs inlaid in abalone and mother of pearl. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of Fusion Edge humbuckers flanking a Black Velvet single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh machine heads, and Gotoh Strap lock pins. The hardware is black and the guitar ships with a W150R hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
The JCRG2301 is a similar model with gold hardware. The JCRG2302 is a related model with selected poplar burl top and gold hardware.
