The JCRG2302U is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2023. It is a spot model which is made in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line. It was conceived and sold exclusively in the United States by retailer Ibanez Rules, to commemorate the store's 25th year in business and 15th as an Ibanez dealer; this model was sold as the JCRG25IR.
The JCRG2302U features African mahogany body with 4A flamed maple top bolted to a maple and bubinga ultra thin super wizard neck with a 24-fret black ebony fingerboard with descending size offset abalone dot position markers, luminlay blue side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh machine heads, Gotoh Strap lock pins and gold hardware.
