The JCRG22S05 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2022. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG22S05 features neck through body construction with a quilted maple top and back on African Mahogany body wings mated to a maple and purpleheart neck with an cocobolo fingerboard with abalone and mother of pearl Tree of Life inlays, Luminlay side dots and 24 stainless steel frets. Components include DiMarzio pickups with Air Norton and The Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh tuning machines and Gotoh locking strap pins.
The JCRG22S05 was offered only in 2022.
