The JCRG22C01 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2022. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line and was offered for sale exclusively by Japanese retailer Kurosawa Gakki.
The JCRG22C01 features a 5A quilted maple top on an African mahogany body bolted to a maple and purpleheart neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with purple resin and abalone Tree of Life fretboard inlays and Luminlay side dots. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups with an Air Norton at the neck and The Tone Zone at the bridge both with chrome covers, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh tuning machines and Gotoh Strap lock pins.
The JCRG22C02 is a similar model with a pink finish.
Production of this model was limited to perhaps as few as one single guitar.[1]
