The JCRG2203 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2022. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG2203 features a burl maple top on a swamp ash body bolted to a maple and purpleheart neck with a birdseye maple fingerboard with matching color dot position markers, Luminlay side dots and 24 stainless steel frets. Components include a pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups with a Jazz at the neck and Custom 5 at the bridge, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh tuning machines and Gotoh locking strap pins.
The JCRG2203 was discontinued in 2023.
