The JCRG21S1 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2021. It was made in Japan by Sugi as part of the exclusive J Custom line. It is a spot model which was sold exclusively by select Japanese and European music retailers.
The JCRG21S1 features a grained redwood top with gold synthetic resin on a black limba body with a maple and purpleheart neck with a 24-fret cocobolo fingerboard with pearl and abalone Tree of Life inlays. Components include a pair of Bare Knuckle humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, and Gotoh tuning machines.
The JCRG21S2 is a similar model with black synthetic resin on the top & an ebony fingerboard.
Only a single piece was made.
