The JCRG20191 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2019. It was a limited production model crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG20191 features a 4mm thick spalted maple top on an African mahogany body bolted to a wenge and purpleheart neck asymmetric Super Wizard neck with an ebony fingerboard with 24 nickel silver super jumbo frets with hemispherical fret end treatment and abalone and pearl Tree of Life vine position markers. The headstock has a matching spalted maple veneer. Components include DiMarzio pickups with Air Norton and The Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, recessed Easy Access control knobs, Gotoh tuning machines and Gotoh Free-Lock II strap pins.
The JCRG20194 is a similar model with a poplar burl top on an alder body and black hardware. The JCRG20193 is a related model with a quilted maple top on a swamp ash body and a maple fretboard. The JCRG20192 is a related model with flamed maple top, a wenge fretboard, a dual humbucker pickup configuration and chrome hardware.
