The JCRG2004S is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2020. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG2004S features an exotic maple textured maple top with resin fill on a lightweight swamp ash body bolted a wenge and maple neck with an asymmetric profile and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, and Gotoh tuning machines.
The JCR2004S was offered in two finishes: the Stormy Night version has a blue resin-filled top and was offered exclusively by select Japanese and European music retailers while the Dragon Breath version has a red resin-filled top was sold in China.
The JCRG2004S was offered in 2020 and it's believed that as few as a single example of each finish was produced.
