The JCRG2003 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG2003 features a Hawaiian koa top on an alder body bolted to a maple and wenge with an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets with hemispherical fret end treatment and Tree of Life vine inlays. The headstock has a matching Hawaiian koa veneer. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil all with cream covers, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, recessed Easy Access control knobs, Gotoh tuning machines and Gotoh Free-Lock II strap pins.
The JCRG2001 is a similar model with an alder body, a maple and purpleheart neck, chrome hardware and dot position markers. The JCRG2002 is a similar model with an exotic Maple top on an African mahogany body, a wenge and purpleheart neck and dot position markers.
