The JCRG17C01 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2017. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line. The JCRG17C01 is a spot model which was sold exclusively by Japanese music retailer Ikebe Gakki.
The JCRG17C01 features a neck through body construction with Honduran mahogany wings under a selected exotic maple top with color-matched Tree of Life abalone inlays and cream binding. The maple and bubinga neck has a 24-fret selected rosewood fingerboard with Tree of Life position markers and a headstock which matches the top. The frets are medium/jumbo size. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, recessed Easy Access control knobs and Gotoh tuning machines. A color-matching red or blue leather-covered hard case and matching multi-tool are included.
