The JCRG17 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2017. This prototype was crafted in Japan as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG17 features a neck through body construction with Mahogany wings under a selected quilted maple top mated to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret Macassar Ebony fingerboard with abalone Tree of Life position markers, black side dots and a headstock which matches the top. The frets are medium/jumbo size. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, recessed Easy Access control knobs and Gotoh tuning machines.
