The JCRG1405 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2014. It was made in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line. It was introduced at the 2014 Gakki Fair.
The JCRG1405 features a two-piece alder body with European flamed maple binding bolted to a maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret flamed maple bound ebony fingerboard with offset mother of pearl dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, Gotoh Free Lock II strap pins and Gotoh tuning machines.
The neck is attached to the body with a retro-style tilt-joint with a stainless steel plate. The serial number is hand printed on the back of the headstock.
