The JCRG13EM is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2013. It was made in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG13EM features an African mahogany body topped with an exotic maple top bolted to an asymmetric maple and bubinga neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with Tree of Life inlays. Components include cream-colored DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, Gotoh locking strap pins and Gotoh tuning machines. The neck humbucker is an Air Classic which is wound for the bridge position, but installed reversed for the neck.
The headstock has an exotic maple top which is finished to match the body. The neck is attached with a traditional tilt joint with a stainless steel plate. The serial number is hand printed on the back of the headstock in Sterling silver ink.
The JCRG13BP is a similar model with a burl poplar top. The JCRG13BEM is a similar model with a birds eye maple top. The JCRG13MY is a similar model with a myrtle top.
