The JCRG11M is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2011. It was made in Japan by Sugi as one of two special models introduced in 2011 in the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG11M has a body which is 98% of the size of the normal RG and has a shorter scale 628mm neck with a U-shape and a 10" radius fretboard which is much less flat than a typical RG. It features an African mahogany body with an exotic quilted maple top bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret selected maple fingerboard with mother of pearl dot position markers. Components include a pair of custom Ibanez humbucking pickups, an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, Free Lock II strap pins and Gotoh tuning machines.
The headstock has a 2mm thick quilted maple top and is finished to match the body. The serial number is hand-written on the back of the headstock using pure gold ink.
The JCRG11R is a similar model with a rosewood fretboard. Other similarly downsized RG models include the JCRG1403 and JCRG16C01.
