The JCRG10-06 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model offered by Ibanez in 2010. It was made in Japan by Sugi as one of six special models introduced in 2010 in the high-end J Custom line.
Only 12 units was made.
The JCRG10-06 features neck-through-body construction with African mahogany wings and an exotic quilted maple top mated to a maple and bubinga neck with an asymmetric profile and a 24-fret maple-bound ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable zero-point system tuning stabilizer, a locking nut, Free Lock II strap pins and Gotoh tuning machines.
The headstock has a 2mm curly maple top and is painted to match the body. The serial number is hand-written on the back of the headstock using pure gold or sterling silver ink.
The JCRG10-01 and JCRG10-02 are related models with Eastern curly maple tops and, respectively, chrome or gold hardware. The JCRG10-03 is a related model with a AAAAA quilted maple top and cosmo black hardware. The JCRG10-04 is a related model with an exotic curly maple top. The JCRG10-05 is a similar model with gold hardware.
The JCRG10-06 was offered only in 2010.
