The JCRG-PROTO-01 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid-2022. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCRG-PROTO-01 features a flamed maple top on an African mahogany body bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a selected rosewood fingerboard with abalone and mother of pearl Tree of Life inlays. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups with an Air Norton at the neck and The Tone Zone at the bridge, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, Gotoh tuning machines and Gotoh Strap lock pins.
Only a single example with this spec was produced.
