The JCRG-2001 is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2001. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. It was created exclusively for sale by Japanese retailer Ishibashi.

The most unusual feature of the JCRG-2001 is a chambered body with a total of five cylindrical cavities drilled into the body under the top. The other interesting spec is the frets with different sizes between the first 15 frets and the last 9.

The JCRG-2001 features neck-through construction with Honduran mahogany body wings with a 5mm thick plain maple top with a flame maple veneer attached to a wenge and bubinga neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The JCRG-2001 was offered only in 2001 with only six units produced.
