The JCRG-1S is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 1999. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom series.
The JCRG-1S features neck-through construction with mahogany body wings attached to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The JCRG-1 is a similar model without the middle pickup. The JCRG-2 is a related model with a flame maple top and an ebony fingerboard.
