The JCAZ2501 is an AZ series solid body electric guitar spot model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2025. It was first exhibited as an exclusive model at Ibanez Guitar Festival 2025 in Germany [2]. It was crafted in Japan by the Custom Shop as part of the high-end J Custom line.
The JCAZ2501 features a claro walnut top on an lightweight alder body bolted to a roasted maple neck with a cocobolo fingerboard with 22 stainless steel frets, mother of pearl dot position markers and luminescent side dots. Components include direct mounted Seymour Duncan ortuna pickups with a humbucker with a chrome cover at the bridge and single-coils in the neck and middle positions, a Gotoh T1502 two-point synchronized tremolo bridge, a bone nut, Sure Grip III knobs, and Gotoh locking tuning Machines and includes a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
