The JBM100 is a solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It is a Signature guitar of Jake Bowen of the American progressive metal band Periphery. The JBM100 was made in Japan by FujiGen and is based on the RGA series.
The JBM100 features a mahogany body with maple top bolted to a custom neck with a reversed headstock and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and a special crescent moon inlay at the 12th fret. Components include dual custom DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Sperzel locking tuning machines.
In mid-2015 the three-piece maple and bubinga neck was replaced by a five-piece maple and walnut construction. For 2019 the body material was clarified to be African mahogany.
The JBM100 was joined in 2016 by two new Jake Bowen signature models: the JBM20 and the seven-string JBM27, both of which are produced in Indonesia.
The JBM100 was discontinued after 2020. Another Japanese-made model for Bowen, the JBM9999 was introduced in mid-2000.
