J-Line is a designation of electric guitars produced in Japan for Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. The initial J-Line models were introduced in 2020.

J-Line guitars slot in below the Prestige series, but generally above the Indonesian-made Premium series.

Production

The J-Line designation was debuted in September 2020 with the release of the Talman TM730. It is yet to be seen if additional models will use this appellation. In contrast with Prestige models which typically include aftermarket pickups and a hard-shell case, the TM730 has in-house pickups and comes with a gig bag.
