Iida Gakki is a musical instrument manufacturer based in Nagoya, Japan. Iida has produced instruments for Hoshino Gakki which have been sold under the Ibanez brand. The company is also variously referred to as Iida Gakki Seisakusho, K.K.[1]and Iida Gakki Mfg. Co.[2] The name can sometimes be found spelled (erroneously?) as Ida Gakki.

Iida began producing guitars in 1958 and continues through the present.[3] Although Iida produced mainly acoustic and semi-acoustic guitars for brands such as Ibanez, Yamaha and Morris[2], they also produced some solid body electrics.[3] These included a number of Artist series models produced in the late 1980s and early 1990s (and perhaps in other periods as well).

Iida also owns the Peerless factory in South Korea, which also produced guitars for Ibanez and others.
