The IRG8470F, also known as simply the IRG8470, is an RG solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2007. It was made in Japan by FujiGen and was a spot model offered exclusively for sale by the Ishibashi musical instrument stores in Japan.
The IRG8470F features a flamed maple top with binding on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut Super Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with flamed maple binding and Tree of Life vine position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a Air Norton and Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a Blue Velvet single-coil, and Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.
The RG8470F is nearly identical aside from the finishes.
