The IRG730 is an RG series 24¾" shrot scale solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1995. It was made in Japan by FujiGen and was a spot model which was offered exclusively by Japanese music retailer Ishibashi.

The IRG730 features a thick hard maple top with natural binding on a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

The RG5-150 is a similar 25½" scale spot model with mahogany body. The RG3120 is a similar model with rosewood fretboard and different neck.
