The IRG1822 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2000. It is made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. The IRG1820 is a spot model produced exclusively for sale by the Ishibashi retail chain in Japan.

The IRG1822 features a mahogany body with a 2mm thick AAAA grade quilt maple top bolted to a J Custom neck with a 24-fret selected dark rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.

The IRG1820 is a similar model with a flame maple top.

The IRG1822 was discontinued after 2000.
