The IKRG85703 is a limited edition RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2025. It is crafted in Japan by FujiGen as part of the exclusive J Custom line. It is being offered exclusively for sale by Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the company's establishment. The IKRG85703 is based on the RG8570 and was produced in small quantities.
The IKRG85703 features a mahogany body with Hawaiian Koa top bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard with abalone and mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay. The neck is built with a Super Wizard profile. The headstock features Hawaiian koa to match the body. Components include DiMarzio pickups with black Air Norton (neck) and Air Zone (bridge) humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, Gotoh tuning machines, and Gotoh knurled metal knobs.
The IKRG85701 and IKRG85702 are related models with quilted maple top and other finishes. The IKRG85271 is a seven-string limited model that was produced for the same occasion.
