The IKRG85701 is a limited edition RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2025. It is crafted in Japan by FujiGen as part of the exclusive J Custom line. It is being offered exclusively for sale by Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the company's establishment. The IKRG85701 is based on the RG8570 and was produced in small quantities.
The IKRG85701 features a mahogany body with quilted maple top bolted to a maple and wenge neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone and mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay. The neck is built with a Super Wizard profile. The headstock features quilted maple to match the body. Components include DiMarzio pickups with black Air Norton (neck) and Air Zone (bridge) humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut, Gotoh tuning machines, and Gotoh knurled metal knobs.
The IKRG85702 is a similar limited model with See Through Black finish. The IKRG85703 is a related limited model with hawaiian koa top that was produced for the same occasion.
