The IJCRG20C04 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It was crafted in Japan by Sugi as part of the high-end J Custom line. The IJCRG20C04 is a spot model which was made in collaboration with Japanese retailer Ishibashi.
The IJCRG20C04 features neck through body construction with a selected burl maple top with maple binding on ash wings mated to a wenge, purpleheart and maple neck with a 24-fret birdseye maple fretboard with maple binding and pearloid and abalone Tree of Life inlays. The binding continues on the headstock which has the same burl maple veneer and finish as the top. Components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of Fusion Edge humbuckers flanking a Black Velvet single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, recessed Easy Access control knobs, Gotoh tuning machines and Gotoh Free-Lock II strap pins.
Only a single example of this model was produced although 5 other one-off models, each with different specs, were released concurrently: IJCRG20C01, IJCRG20C02, IJCRG20C03, IJCRG20C05 and, IJCRG20C06.
