The IC500 is a limited edition Iceman series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was made in Japan by FujiGen. It didn't appear in any catalogue.
The IC500 features a mahogany body with wide perloid binding mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and abalone dot position markers. Components include a Full Tune II fixed bridge and Ibanez V7 (neck) and V8 (bridge) humbucking pickups, an Ivory pickguard, black chrome hardware and Gotoh tuning machines with perloid heads.
The IC500 was a very limited run only available in 1994 (rumoured to be around 200) to gauge interest for Iceman models that are not Paul Stanley series, and was later followed by the Korean made IC300 (1994–2003).
The IC350 (Japan) is a similar model, sporting tremolo bridge and bolt-on maple neck.
