The IC500 is a limited edition Iceman series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.
The IC500 features a mahogany body with wide pearloid binding mated to a set-in maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and abalone dot position markers. Components include a Full Tune II fixed bridge and Ibanez V7 (neck) and V8 (bridge) humbucking pickups, an ivory pickguard, black chrome hardware, and Gotoh tuning machines with pearloid heads.
The IC500 was a very limited run only available in 1994 (rumoured to be around 200) which was purportedly produced to gauge interest for Iceman models outside of the signature Paul Stanley series. It was later followed by the Korean made IC300.
The IC350 is a related model with a tremolo bridge and a bolt-on maple neck.
