The HRG7 (or HRG7/2012) is an RG series solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2012. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. The HRG7 was a spot model created exclusively for the Japanese retailer Ikebe Gakki.
The HRG7 features a mahogany body with a flame maple top bolted to a titanium reinforced maple and walnut neck with VelveTouch finish and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and abalone offset dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The HRG7 was produced only in 2012. A total of 18 guitars (6 for each color) were produced.
